History reconfigured

Wormley Row offers thirteen distinctive residences with a rich patina of history. Built in 1885, the Wormley School was named in honor of James Wormley (1819–1884), a nationally-renowned Washington entrepreneur who was a passionate advocate for the education of the city’s African-American children.*

Now renovated and preserved for future generations, the Wormley School has been brought back to life as the cornerstone of the Condominium Residences and Townhouses of Wormley Row. In one of Washington, D.C.’s oldest neighborhoods, thirteen new doors are opening.
